1. Project survey, site review, long-range planning, create maps and other data to design new projects
2. Customer relations throughout the life of the project
3. Manage project schedules and priority list for assigned tasks
4. Consider budget, regulations and environmental hazards during risk-analysis stage
5. Prepare engineers cost estimate for material, equipment and labor to complete the project
6. Forecast design and construction timelines
7. Complete and submit all permit applications to the appropriate agencies and ensuring projects are compliant throughout the life of the project
8. Provide construction support and quality assurance
9. Oversee soil testing to ensure compliance with construction specifications
10. Use design software to create project drawings 11. All other duties assigned
