Job Description
Boone Central Schools is currently accepting applications for a Director of Facilities Operations & Co-Head Maintenance & Grounds Supervisor effective immediately. This is a full-time 12-month contract.
Job Duties (include, but are not limited to):
- Provide direct supervision and oversight of custodial staff, including daily operations, scheduling, and work assignments.
- Oversee facilities, maintenance, and grounds operations in collaboration with co-leadership, ensuring buildings and outdoor areas are safe, clean, and well maintained.
- Coordinate and support indoor and outdoor custodial services, including routine cleaning, preventative care, and seasonal responsibilities.
- Manage facility setup, breakdown, and clean-up for school events, activities, and community use before, during, and after events.
- Address general building maintenance needs and assist in identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating repairs. Experience and training to complete maintenance tasks as needed is required, including routine upkeep.
- Order, inventory, and manage custodial and maintenance supplies and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Support compliance with safety, health, and operational standards related to facilities and grounds.
- Reports to the Superintendent and Building Principals.
Starting date is flexible, but March 2nd is the date of preference.
