Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Cook / Culinary Specialist to join our client's dedicated culinary team in Columbus, NE. If you have a passion for preparing wholesome meals and a heart for serving seniors, we want to hear from you!
In this role, you'll prepare nutritious meals while ensuring cleanliness, safety and a welcoming dining environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve meals based on planned menus and resident dietary requirements

Follow proper food safety and sanitation standards at all times

Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and work areas

Assist with inventory management, food storage and rotation

Work with dietary staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service

Provide friendly and respectful service to residents and coworkers
What You’ll Bring

Previous cooking experience in healthcare, hospitality or institutional food service preferred

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Ability to follow recipes and adjust for dietary needs (e.g. low-sodium, diabetic, etc.)

Strong teamwork and communication skills

A positive attitude and a genuine interest in serving seniors
