(COLUMBUS, Neb.) – At Columbus Community Hospital, our doctors are an incredibly important part of our community — which is why “community” is our middle name.
One local doctor who consistently delivers the best for our area is radiation oncologist Dr. Christopher Veale with Columbus Cancer Care. Veale and his team use research-based approaches to treat the people of Platte County and surrounding communities.
For Veale, it’s important to be there for each patient along their cancer journey.
“I love being able to serve people in a time of their life that is often scary and intimidating,” he said. “It is rewarding to help people through their cancer journey, attempting to provide clarity on their diagnosis and create a plan with each person I am able to see.”
Keith Luedders, vice president of ancillary services at CCH, said Veale has been an incredible addition to Columbus Cancer Care and the Columbus community.
“Dr. Veale’s collaborative approach and dedication to his patients is a very important part of what makes Columbus Cancer Care and Columbus Community Hospital a great place to receive care,” Luedders said.
Another special reason to receive care by Dr. Veale is mentioned he also loves the team-centered approach to care here in Columbus.
“In a smaller community like Columbus, the physicians work very closely with each other,” he said. “We can get people in and started down their path of treatment very quickly and efficiently.”
Our caregivers embrace the shared values and enhance the lives of those they are proud to call friends and neighbors — right here, in the heart of our community.
