The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation has announced that Rylee Seim, Regional Recruitment Coordinator for the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce, has been selected to participate in the Business Leads Fellowship Program. This prestigious program brings together state and local chamber executives, economic development professionals, and association leaders from across the country to address critical workforce and education challenges.
A Competitive Selection Process
Following a rigorous application and selection process, Rylee was chosen as one of just 35 participants in the eleventh class of the program. Over the next eight months, fellows will engage in both virtual and in-person training, covering the entire talent pipeline—from early childhood education to postsecondary education and workforce development.
Bringing National Insights to Columbus
Rylee shared her excitement about this opportunity, stating:
“I am honored and excited to collaborate with like-minded professionals from across the country. I look forward to gaining valuable insights and knowledge to bring back to Columbus and the communities we serve.”
Building Stronger Communities Through Education & Workforce Development
The Business Leads Fellowship Program was designed to equip leaders with the tools and knowledge needed to drive meaningful change in their communities.
“We created the Business Leads Fellowship Program in response to the needs of our state and local chamber partners,” said Kyle Butler, Senior Manager, Programs, K-12 Education at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. “They, better than anyone, see the critical link between education and economic development, and we are glad to be able to support them as they take on this critical leadership role in their community.”
A Growing Network of Leaders
Upon completing the program, Rylee will join an elite network of over 350 chamber and association professionals who continue to engage in education and workforce initiatives nationwide.
