About CASA Connection
CASA Connection is the local Court Appointed Special Advocate program based in Columbus, NE. As a non-profit organization we currently cover cases that stem from Boone, Colfax, Nance and Platte Counties.
CASA Connection is looking for a passionate, organized, and people-focused Outreach Coordinator to help grow our community presence, build relationships, and connect people with our mission of advocating for children in the foster care system.
Position Summary
The Outreach Coordinator will help develop and coordinate community outreach efforts throughout the 4-county area, cultivate relationships with community partners, promote organizational programs and events, and help increase awareness and participation among the populations we serve.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships, working with diverse communities, coordinating events, and representing CASA Connection in a professional and welcoming manner.
Travel in a personal vehicle will be required. Mileage will be reimbursed at the applicable IRS standard mileage rate.
Qualifications
Required:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
• Comfortable speaking with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds
