You are eager to solve hands-on technology problems where our operations happen: on-site at farms and production locations. This role focuses primarily on supporting cameras, internet equipment, bin readers, connectivity, and other field technology that keeps the business moving. Office support remains part of the position, but it is secondary to keeping operational systems working reliably in the field.
A day in the life:
- Provide on-site support for cameras, internet equipment, bin readers, network-connected devices, and related field technology across farm and business locations.
- Regularly travel to farm and business locations to provide on-site assistance and support equipment where it is installed.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot supported technology, including:
- Security cameras and camera systems
- Microsoft Windows
- Internet equipment, network connections, routers, switches, wireless access points, and related connectivity
- Office 365
- Bin readers and other farm or production technology devices
- 2 Way Radios
- Assist with office-based support requests, including user questions, computer setup, phones, email, chat, accounts, and standard hardware or software needs.
- · Develop best practices that improve user experience and field technology reliability.
- · Test and evaluate new technologies.
- · Create and share training resources for recurring support issues and common user questions.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree
- 2 Years Customer Support Experience Preferred
- 2 years of IT, field technology, low-voltage, networking, camera system, or equipment troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Experience setting up or supporting computers, printers, mobile devices, cameras, internet equipment, bin readers, and other network-connected devices preferred.
- Working knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory, and Exchange is helpful for secondary office-support needs.
