The Loan Assistant builds and maintains strong customer and employee relationships. Assist Branch Manager and Loan Officers with origination, processing and servicing of loans in an accurate and professional manner. Will provide unmatched customer service and exhibit and uphold Cornerstone Bank culture, core values and mission.
JOB DUTIES
Primary duties to include the processing of loans for the branch. Input loan information and prepare loan reports. File collateral documents to perfect lien and process loan advances and line payments. Will also have back up personal banker responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Equivalent to a high school education. At least 2 years of equivalent work experience preferred. Must be accurate and detail-oriented. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of personal computers and the suite of Microsoft Office products. Ability to interact effectively with other bank personnel, management, co-workers and customers. Ability to work in a team environment and independently. Sound judgment, courtesy, tact and diplomacy. Ability to deliver unmatched customer service and exhibit the core values of Cornerstone Bank.
