Zentner Transportation, Inc. of Cedar Rapids, NE has an immediate opening for a Diesel Mechanic.
Looking for an individual driven and able to efficiently work on our own equipment, as well as bringing in a few outside jobs. This position is based on and around working on trucks, ordering parts, keeping records and organizing the shop. The shop will be yours along with the help of Zach to help prioritize and work on jobs that may need an extra hand. Hours will be discussed, but Saturday mornings and some Saturday afternoons are a must as our equipment comes through on the weekends. Knowledge of Cummins & Cat motors is a must. Other knowledge of clutch & transmission work, rearend work, brakes, wheel ends, A/C work, tire work, electrical and other truck related problems that may occur. $30+ and hour based upon experience, paid vacation and more to negotiate.
