Associate degree in business or similar field or two years’ relevant work experience required. Excellent interpersonal skills required for coaching entrepreneurs, program management and outreach. Experience in management. Ability to coach founders through personal startup challenges and assist in developing business plans; strong written and oral communication skills needed for presenting to individuals, groups and the public.
Serves as a representative of CCC for entrepreneurship and small business development in Columbus and surrounding communities. Works closely with Entrepreneurship Directors to plan and market events that promote and develop small business and their founders. Mentors founders, evaluates and assists with business plan development. Remains aware of resources available across the entrepreneurial ecosystem, coordinating with various partners to support founders and existing small businesses. Performs duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures.
