Lindsay Area Development is preparing to launch operations of their new facilities in Lindsay Nebraska, the Lindsay Area Event & Wellness Center which is completing construction and will be opening to the public fall of 2025. This is a general administrative role that will work closely with the executive director, sales and marketing and other business partners to develop and launch new business operations and then providing ongoing administrative and logistics to support successful operations.
Daily responsibilities may vary based upon specific events hosted in the facility and various planning stages for upcoming events.
General responsibilities may include:
- General project management of event planning, coordinating services with vendors, clients and internal business partners to create memorable experiences for clients and guests
- Contract management and support the logistics for marketing partners, including administrative support, bookings, invoicing and payments
- Manage internal/external communications between all parties involved to support the events and services
- Contact and secure support staff, if needed for events (for example booking/scheduling bartenders for corporate party or referees for a sporting tournament or other volunteers)
- Updating and maintaining client and vendor account information
- Other duties may be assigned to support the development and testing of new business processes
Full or part-time position is available. While business and office management/administrative support experience is desired, willing to train and develop new graduates / early careerists.
