SUMMARY:Envision Columbus Community Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Envision Columbus is a group of energetic volunteers who strive to help our wonderful town become the best that it can be   both now and 20 years from now!\n\n \n\nEnvision Columbus reviewed survey data and held multiple focus group sessions with our residents and business leaders. The focus group participants identified the same strengths and potential opportunities that have been the focus of continuous improvement strategies in our community.  The eight focus areas identified include: Housing\; Transportation and Broadband\; Main Street and Downtown\; Parks\, Recreation and Open Space\; Retail\, Dining and Entertainment\; People Attraction and Retention\; Industry and Workforce Development\; and Image and Identity.\n\n \n\nEnvision Columbus wants to help add value to these current efforts!  We want to bring together the entire community to help advance these efforts further.  As a community\, collaboration with like-minded individuals and entities can support these efforts\, as well as help to excel these projects beyond what any of us could imagine.\n\n \n\nWe want to help educate others on what is already happening\, bring together those who are also interested in these areas\, and identify any gaps in individual efforts that others may be able to support.  It's takes a village to move these topics forward and we have the perfect community in Columbus to do this!  \n\n \n\nWe hope you will join us on September 1st\, 9 am to 4 pm at the Immanuel Lutheran Family Life Center\, 1470 23rd Ave\, Columbus to Envision the future of Columbus!
